SOME MORE ABOUT US

STATEMENT OF FAITH

A Distinct Identity

New Vision Sports Club is called to make God known throughout East Africa, and into the arena of sports through evangelism, discipleship and training. We believe that salvation of souls should result in transformation of societies, thus obeying Jesus' command to make disciples of all nations.

OUR HISTORY

Our Roots

Here at New Vision Sports Club, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is the power of sport. Since our founding in 2007, we have been determined to use sports to impact the local community. The core of our efforts has been using soccer as the main tool. But we have also offered education, scholarships and job training. Now as we look towards the future we are determined to continue to develop our impact in the world of sports, which in turn will impact our community.

OUR PARENT MINISTRY, YOUTH WITH A MISSION

A Distinct Identity

Youth With A Mission, aka YWAM, is a world-wide missions movement whose main purpose is to know God and make Him known. We are located at YWAM Arusha, which is located in the heart of East Africa in a country called Tanzania.

OUR CORE VALUES

Love-  We believe Jesus was very clear that we are supposed to love each other. This means for us as a program we look for every opportunity to show each other, our community, and our competition God's love for them.

Integrity- We look for every opportunity to walk in integrity. What this looks like for us is being honest in our communication with eachother and giving our best in all our work.

Visionary-  New Vision Sports Club is called to be visionary, continually receiving, nurturing and releasing fresh vision from God. We support the pioneering of new methods, always willing to be radical in order to be relevant to every generation.

EmpathyWe continually are looking to take a posture of wanting to understand our fellow co-worker, the boys in our ministry, and the needs of our community.
